Katie Gordon:

Born into a military family, moving around her entire life. She always finds her way back to NC since her family lives here. In 2017 she left the US to go live in Okinawa, Japan. Spent years traveling other countries and helping with child care. She came back to the US at the end of 2019 and began searching for a career where she discovered her love for marketing and building on other's ideas. In 2021 she founded The Royal Effect, where she is hoping to make a difference in the world we live in.

Shainyce Serrano

 Born and raised in Greensboro, NC. She's had her fair share of trying to find which job fits her, but now we know she has found it. Shainyce has always looked at herself as a business woman and this job allows her to pursue that. Before this, she was a general merchandiser at Target doing things like keeping up with: inventory, stocking, and customer service. Those skills helped her prepare for this job by sharpening her customer service skills. During her free time she loves to give every minute to her bible study, family, and friends. Shainyce also loves going out to eat, shopping, and binge watching movies/shows. She began her career in Winston Salem, NC but now is expanding her knowledge and growth into the new Raleigh, NC territory. Shainyce is now one of Katie's right hand man in opening up this new office along with a few of her previous business partners. We cannot wait to see where this journey will take her. 

Eliot Boyd:

Eliot has been with this company since January 2021 as a marketing manager then transitioned into a new role as the HR Director in early February. He started in the Winston Salem, NC office and now he oversees the Raleigh territory as well. He recently been promoted to Senior HR director in May. Before working in this program, he was a manager at a grocery store for a few years. In his free time he enjoys spending it with: family, friends, and pets along with just watching Netflix.

When we brought the expansion to Eliot's attention, he was so excited to be a part of it to help the community grow and bring a new perspective to the area.
